Description

Fisherman Soup is a spicy, aromatic Nigerian seafood stew originating from the riverine areas of Akwa-Ibom, Cross River, and Rivers states. It is a "one-pot" dish traditionally made with a fresh, diverse catch—including fish, prawns, crabs, snails, and periwinkles—thickened with cocoyam and seasoned with palm oil, fresh peppers, and aromatic Uziza leaves.
