Description

Poundo (or Poundo Yam) is a convenient, instant flour made from processed, dried yam tubers, designed to mimic traditional pounded yam without the labor-intensive pounding. It creates a smooth, stretchy, and elastic "swallow" dough within 5–10 minutes by mixing with hot water. It is a staple West African meal often paired with soups.
